Finland built a giant fortress to protect the Helsinki harbor. Some compared it to Gibraltar. In 1808, it was surrendered without a fight. Russian forces would march into the town at night and back again in the daylight. The commander of the fortress through the Russians were bringing in reinforcements, and he was greatly outnumbered, so he surrendered. Sometimes we overestimate the power of evil and just surrender without a fight. But good is much more powerful than evi,l no matter how things appear.
