An international “Finish the Sentence” inquiry invited people to write, “My favorite word is…” The responses were filled with a lot of surprising and unusual words. But the entry that really stood out came from April Griesenbeck in Helotes, Texas. She wrote, “My favorite word is…Momma, because my son is ten and soon I’ll just be “Mom.’” Every mother can relate to those nostalgic moments when their child takes that next step toward adulthood, but no mom is ‘just a mom.’
